Swansea City Bus Station
A modern and central public transport interchange.
The new bus station in Swansea was designed and built to BREEAM environmental standards and includes a grey water collection system, LED lighting and light sensors. There are modern touch-screen information panels and a number of accessibility features to assist disabled passengers. Bus station rangers help to ensure passengers feel safe and are able to find the right bus or destination.
The bus station provides a central public transport interchange linking with dozens of local bus routes, national coach services, taxi services, park and ride services and the ftrmetro. The ftrmetro is a frequent and modern bus service that utilises dedicated roads, bus lanes and priority traffic signal systems along a route between Morriston and Singleton Hospital stopping at several key locations such as the Liberty Stadium, the central train and bus stations, Swansea Civic Centre and Swansea University.

Schools or community groups wishing to have a guided visit to the bus station should contact in advance. The bus station is located within the central shopping area and so on-street parking can be difficult but there is easy access to public car parks and public transport. The site has wheelchair access. The bus stop for the ftrmetro and park and ride services is a short walk from the bus station.
