Swansea 'Growing Spaces' Green map.

The Growing Spaces map is our first online only map. We are looking to produce a printable pdf of the map that will contain other information as well, but that will be in the near future.
The map highlights organisations around Swansea that are to do with local production of food in some way or another and are available for people to join in with - whether through buying their produce, through direct engagement in the growing process or through the willingness to share knowledge and skills to encourage others.
Growing your own food has many benefits for the grower through cheaper food, good exercise and knowing exactly what chemicals (if any) have been used. It also benefits the wider environmnent by helping to reduce 'food miles' that contribute to global warming.
